Laser-cut laptop stand
I finished a project today and am really pleased with how it turned out. This is a teardrop laptop stand inspired by a design I found on thingiverse, but that I recreated from scratch to match the dimensions of my laptop and the scrap materials that were on hand at VHS.
Cut the main piece out of 3mm plywood, and the side/support pieces out of 6mm plywood. Put a clear-coat on and snap it together!
Epilogue
Then I stupidly tried to bike home with this thing awkwardly dangling in a shopping bag. It got caught in the spokes, I crashed, and it smashed one side of the flexure. Very sad.
