Denial of Perspective
Artist Felice Varini makes these amazing installations in which a 2D shape appears when you stand in exactly the right spot. Sort of like in The Ambassadors. I don’t mean to give away the ending, but I’m pretty sure it’s just a matter of projecting the shape onto the walls and then coloring in the lines. I suppose there’s beauty in projective geometry.
A Toronto subway station has a less exciting version.
